MAILMOOD TERMS OF SERVICE AND PRIVACY NOTICE

By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using the MailMood Chrome extension, you agree to the following terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not install or use this product. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service. MailMood is a stylistic communication tool offered "as is" without any express, implied, or statutory warranties or guarantees of any kind. Use of the extension is entirely at your own risk and discretion. The developers, creators, distributors, and affiliates of MailMood disclaim all responsibility for outcomes, impact, or interpretation related to use of the extension. We do not guarantee any personal, professional, reputational, or business result. MailMood is not a legal, financial, compliance, or HR tool and is not suitable for use in sensitive, regulated, or confidential communications.

MailMood does not access, store, or transmit the content of your emails beyond what is necessary for the rewriting function. All tone rewriting occurs via browser interaction with a third-party language API. You are solely responsible for reviewing any message generated by the tool before sending. All content is user-controlled. MailMood does not provide legal protection, message accuracy, compliance, or privacy guarantees. The output is generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, tonal mismatch, or unintended phrasing. You are responsible for all messages you send using MailMood and for ensuring their appropriateness and accuracy.

This product is a one-time digital purchase. All purchases are final and non-refundable. You waive any right to request a refund or initiate a chargeback for any reason, including dissatisfaction, unmet expectations, or platform incompatibility. No physical product, support contract, or guarantee of future updates, uptime, or availability is provided. If you encounter technical issues, you may contact us at support@mailmood.com for support. We may attempt to assist, but resolution is not guaranteed, and we assume no obligation to maintain or repair any version of the extension.

MailMood is designed solely for use in the Google Chrome browser with the Gmail web interface. It is not compatible with Outlook, Apple Mail, mobile apps, or other browsers. Functionality outside of Gmail and Chrome is not supported. We may expand compatibility in the future, but no commitment is made to support other services or platforms. MailMood may change or be discontinued at any time without notice.

All user numbers, reviews, testimonials, case studies, and examples shown on this website are illustrative and for display purposes only. They may be fictional, exaggerated, or aesthetic and are not based on verified data or real outcomes. They do not reflect actual performance, statistics, or endorsements. Any resemblance to real individuals or metrics is coincidental. You acknowledge that no part of this website constitutes advice, factual representation, or performance guarantee.

This product is designed for users outside the European Union and is not intended to be GDPR-compliant. If you are a resident of the EU, UK, or jurisdictions requiring similar data protection regulations, you use this product at your own risk and acknowledge that it may not meet local data protection standards. The creator assumes no responsibility for compliance with international data laws.

You may not use MailMood to harass, impersonate, deceive, or harm others, or in violation of applicable law. You acknowledge that any misuse of the tool is your responsibility alone and not that of the creators or distributors of this product. You may not reverse-engineer, modify, redistribute, resell, or repackage the extension or any part of its functionality.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of MailMood after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

MailMood is the intellectual property of its developer and is governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any legal dispute or claim related to MailMood or its use shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vancouver, BC. If any clause in this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement remains in full effect.

By proceeding with installation, payment, or use of the MailMood extension, you expressly waive all claims for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and release the developer and affiliated parties from all liability related to use, output, or access. This product is intended solely for light communication enhancement and is not a substitute for professional oversight, editing, or judgment.

PRIVACY NOTICE

MailMood stores only minimal data locally in your Chrome browser for the extension to function properly. This includes:

- Your license key (for validating your purchase)

- Your selected tone preference (corporate, casual, or assertive)

- A randomly generated device identifier (for license validation)

This data is stored using Chrome's local storage API and is never transmitted except when:

- Validating your license with our secure validation server

- Sending your email content to our AI service for rewriting (content is not stored)

MailMood does not collect, store, transmit, analyze, or retain any personal data, email content, or usage logs beyond the immediate rewriting process. All tone rewriting is performed in real time using API calls without any permanent storage. No input is recorded or logged by MailMood at any point. We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking pixels, and no user behavioral data is accessed or saved.

You are responsible for understanding and agreeing to the data policies of any third-party services invoked by the extension. Any temporary processing of content for the rewriting function is handled securely and deleted immediately after processing.

As a lightweight Chrome extension, MailMood operates entirely within your browser environment. We do not operate databases that store customer emails or collect any behavioral data. Any future feature that may involve additional data will be entirely opt-in, and you will be explicitly notified if this ever changes.

By using MailMood, you accept that this tool offers no data encryption, backup, or security guarantees beyond standard HTTPS transmission, and should not be used for sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable communication. MailMood is not designed for, nor does it meet the requirements of, HIPAA, FERPA, GDPR, or any other privacy regulation requiring auditability, access logs, or user controls.
